|

I got Botox on April 10 2010 for my excess feet sweating that had significantly worsened since I had ETS surgery to cure hand sweating.
On the below page, I discuss my experience, thoughts and results:

Thanks very much for this detailed information!
I didn't know there were International HH conferences and free volunteer sessions. I'm going to see a doctor about my HH very soon, but depending on the outcome / recommendations of that, I would definitely be interested in getting treatment at a conference.
Good luck and I hope the Botox lasts for a long time, although based on other experiences I've read, it seems the effectiveness in feet and hands usually only lasts 3-4 months. The story of the woman whose hands remained dry for 1.5 years using Botox is the longest I've ever read about. Fantastic for her, but sadly probably isn't the case for most people. |

Thanks. Still getting good results. Last few days, I have gotten a rash and/or hives and I am wondering if it is due to an allergic reaction to Botox over 3 weeks after getting injected? I have never had such an intense rash all over my upper back, throat, stomach etc..
My neighbor at my apartment complex complained about mites and got her apartment fumigated, but I moved to a new home yesterday and still had the rash.

| Thanks for posting this!! I've had the ETS surgery as well.. which worked for my hands for 2 years but has somewhat changed now. My feet have always been really bad though, so I'm supposed to get botox tomorrow. I'm nervous about it though because I'm not sure what to expect. Did you ever find out if the rash was from the botox? Also, did you have any compensatory sweating after getting your feet done? |

Hi khurs12, the rash/hives went away and thankfully never came back. Could have been due to stress per what Lisa told me and what I read on the internet after she told me. I was moving into a new home at the time and also had some other stresses. Last two months, I have had zero stress, so that helps.
I got no compensatory sweating.
Good luck with your treatment and do post about your results in a separate thread here. |
