I am glad I found this website.

I have never met anyone else that has had hyperhidrosis. In fact, I have been to several doctors, who did not even know about this issue.

I have suffered from excessive hand sweating (and mild feet sweating) since I was a kid.

I tried drysol years ago with no sucess. I then got Botox injections about 2 years ago...again no success. I considered ETS, but my wife convinced me not to go forward with this.

I have no idea why my hands just sweat horribly at times and then can be perfectly dry sometimes? I also tend to get very cold hands even when I sweat?

Being nervous definitely increases my sweating, but I do get sweaty hands even when I am not nervous.

Well, I am 41 years old now and still have sweaty hands.
Recently, my company was purchased and I am now loosing my job.

This means that I need to go on interviews. Just the thougth of going on an interview makes my hands sweat.

I just put in my order for Maxim. I intend to use it on my hands.
Has anyone had any success using Maxim on their hands?

If this does not work, I want to pursue the Fischer MD-1a device.

FYI, no one else in my family (not my parents, siblings or my own kids) have this disorder.

Thanks,

Lance
