Has anyone heard of or had this surgery? Here's a link to the medical paper explaining it http://www.sweathelp.org/pdf/Efthymiou% ... ectomy.pdf
It looks like Dr. Thorpe removed the T4 thru T6 nerves, bilaterally, through another ETS surgery utilizing the same ports from the initial surgery.
I had the VATS surgery in 2004 and have been suffering since from compensatory. It has ruined my life and I'm guessing that's not the first time everyone has heard that.
This has given me hope and I want to know if anyone else has had this procedure or knows anything about the track record regarding this surgery.
PLEASE CHIME IN!!!
Thank you all!!!

Re: Compensatory Hyperhidrosis SURGERY CURE
I think that cutting/clamping even more ganglia is a rather dangerous idea. There are several reports of people who had T2-T6 sympathectomy and suffer from very bad CS.
