As most surgeons have now moved to cutting/clamping T-4 for hand sweating, the below is an important study that shows how many of the patients getting T-4 cut/clamped for hand sweating also see a reduction in feet sweating. A little over 40 percent seem to see this second benefit.

ETS T-4 and effect on feet sweating
Re: ETS T-4 and effect on feet sweating
hm, I had T3/T4 clamped and I haven't noticed a reduction in feet sweating.
Re: ETS T-4 and effect on feet sweating
I had T2 sympathectomy and I experienced a major reduction in feet sweating for a few years after the ETS (unfortunately the feet sweating was still bothersome, but better controllable with antiperspirants and iontopheresis). It is somehow strange that with years the feet sweating returned simultaneously with the cessation of CS.
From what I read the outcomes can not be predicted.About the same percent of people experience no change, reduction or increase of feet sweating after the ETS.
