Re: ETS Surgery (Sweaty Palms ONLY)

I had T2 cut in 1997. At that time it was rather experimental, controversial and unusual - most doctors insisted that all T2-T4 (+T5) had to be removed. Much later two surgeons from Taiwan and Finland suggested cutting T4 only. One of my friends had T4 cut in 1999 and suffers from almost no side eff...

Re: ETS Surgery (Sweaty Palms ONLY)

Don't do T2 and in no case T2&T3.

Re: ETS for hyperhidrosis

It heavily depends on your condition. You certainly shouldn't have the ETS if your whole body sweats too much. It also seems that ETS has worse outcomes for those who suffer from facial or armpit HH. Even if your HH is localized to your hands or feet, you should be aware that ETS is not a perfect so...

Re: Ten years after the ETS - the story and a question

You shouldn't give up. Our body has a limited ability to regenerate itself. I had ETS (T2) in 1997 for horrible palmo-plantar hyperhidrosis. I was lucky and my only serious side effect was CS which developed more than a year after the surgery. The CS started improving about 10 years after ETS and it...

Re: Hydrosal Gel

Hydrosal and AHC 30 are the only Al-Cl solutions that substantially reduce my plantar HH. I've tried almost all other antiperspirants and they are much less effective. After 15 years of trial-and-error I somehow found out the following regime: - I use them alternatively every other day. - I apply th...

My HH story

Unfortunately both my father and my mother suffer from palmo-plantar HH. My mother's HH is moderate and my father has a really bad case of plantar HH. Therefore, I and my sister had very poor chances for escaping sweaty palms and feet. Interestingly enough, none of my grandparents and none of my aun...
